Hello and welcome to the Bannow and Rathangan Show website.
Bannow & Rathangan Agricultural
Show Society extend
a warm welcome to one and all. This year our show
will be held on Thursday 12th July at
Killag, Duncormick. We are once again
indebted to the White family of Killag, Duncormick, who have provided the
venue for the show since 1980. This is a magnificent
venue, overlooking Kilmore Quay.
Indeed, this site
is a major factor in the success of our show
with a minimum of walking distance to our show field as parking areas are
all in adjacent fields.
We invite visitors from the four
corners of Ireland and beyond to come to Killag on the second
Thursday in July (12th).
It is indeed a family day out, a place to meet old friends and to make new
friends. Bannow and Rathangan Show is one of the
major attractions in the South East and all over Ireland.
The organising committee are indebted
to our loyal exhibitors who support us year after year, and to our
generous sponsors for the support they give us
every year. We are also extremely grateful to our
wonderful workforce and
hard working committee who guarantee
that everything is ready for show day, and ensure
the smooth running of the show on the day.
Come along and see for yourself the
wonderful array of competitions featuring Horses, Ponies, Donkeys, Cattle,
Sheep. Goats, Poultry, Pets Corner, Show Jumping, Dressage, Driving Classes,
Dog Show, Sheep Dog Trials,
Cookery, Crafts, Flowers, Photography, Vegetables,
Farm Produce and Vintage Parade.There
will be a display of Trade Stands in attendance on the day with something to
suit everyone. Our hard working
Ladies Committee also provides a wonderful selection of home baking on the
day.
Bannow & Rathangan Show provides a Fun Day out for all the family.
